CBS news in Chicago reported a man by the name of Richard Rodriguez (from Chicago) recently broke his own world record by riding one of the wood coasters at Blackpool Pleasure Beach for 2000 hours straight. He was only allowed 5 minute washroom breaks. They showed footage of him sleeping on the ride as well as having a banner for him to ride through in the station when he broke the 2000 hour mark. Interesting enough though is the news also said that Guiness has discontinued its roller coaster records section so this man's new record will not be recorded. I couldnt remember which wood coaster they said he was on but while showing him riding, the Pepsi Max hypercoaster was right in front of it.

Wel with no more Guiness coaster section I guess SFMM can say they have the largest rollercoaster and PKI can count the Racer as two. Why oh why?
It'll be just like before Guiness. The park's will say whatever it takes to get people in,and we'll just have to dig for the "real" figures ourselves.

I dont know what you guys are trying to get at but this guy is in Guiness from a previous world record for most consecutive hours on a coaster. He broke his own record with 2000 hours.
