With the green track of Cheetah Hunt finally emerging above the barricades, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay on Thursday announced plans to open its next big thrill ride/animal habitat on May 27. I remember the good old days, when sites that covered a particular park, would submit news with their own updates full of photos. I miss those days!

I didn't even know construction was moving along, let alone almost finished.

I'm so out of the loop anymore.

Perhaps you should spend less time at beardenthusiasts.com, then!

Hi

Did they actually test that heartline or are they going to rip it out in a few weeks? ;-)

LOL - just tracked down the forum thread from the way-back machine. Shoulda have checked the news first! ;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

If the heart-line roll comes out, that's a lot of straight track to have. Maybe we can have a 4th launch area!!

Dream it! Do it!!

As of last week the ride area was looking pretty good. From what I could see, the only track work they needed to finish was the part that goes over the sky ride. Overall, I was surprised by how much time this ride is going to spend at ground level.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
