Cheetah at Wild Adventures

For those of you who have ridden Cheetah, what do you think of the roughness? I recently went with a group to the park and rode several times. Almost every person there rode once and then said it was too rough. I thought it was somewhat rough, but still a great ride. I think the main issue is the steel supports which give NONE.

Haven't been back in a couple months (hey, the "yankee" parks are open now and WA is year-round)....but Cheetah has always been "ferocious"....sure, it's tempermental, but what intense woodie isn't.....

The maintenance guys are pretty good, not up there in "Hammers-leagues" or anything, but they DO work on the track *after* riding (front-row, BTW)....always a good sign.... the steel structure is FINE.....the running boards need a little tweaking now and then....the bright Southern sun is REALLY hard on the treated lumber....it's a *little* rough, but an excellent ride, IMO....

So it's gotten rough in the past year?

I rode in July 2001 and it wasn't bad at all. Of course this was just a few weeks after it opened. That'd be a shame if it roughened up - I really liked Cheetah.
