Does any part of it seem familiar to anyone? I was looking up something else and found this .

It's Freedomland. It's closed, and has been for a long, long time. It's dark rides were sold off The Great Escape and Cedar Point (sound familiar?).

The Great Escape received Tornado and parts of the Fur Trader ride. Cedar Point's Earthquake and Pirate Ride originated here.

Beyond having read a lot about Freedomland before, I'm not certain what should seem familiar about it? If this deals with the OHMIGOD SOMEONE ERECTED A TILTAWHIRL IN MY CHURCH CARNIVAL AND I HEAR THERE'S A $54 MILLION HYPER COASTER COMING NEXT thread, why not post it there?

I had never heard of it until that guy was trying to pass off his freedomland thing. I had no Idea that the Earthquake and Pirate rides were from somewhere else. Sorry didn't mean to cause a problem it just struck me as odd as I had just read the exact same write up on virtual Midway about Earthquake.

No problem to me :)

...the process of learning continues. It just struck me as odd with the other thread happening at the same time. I'd be interested in seeing what the 13 year old land developer billionaire has to say about *this* Freedomland.
