Cheapest SFOG Tickets?

Where might I find the cheapest tickets to SFOG. We are driving down on Tuesday from Charlotte NC and I was wondering if there are any welcome centers or grocery stores with discount tickets? Thanx
I would recommend stopping at a Publix on the way down. I know of one that is off exit 269 (Barrett Parkway) on I-75 south. They sell one day tickets for around $24.00. Doing this will also allow you to pass the sometimes long ticket sales lines at the park.
Hey again, sorry to bump my own thread, but I'm leaving tomorrow. Anyone else got any tips. Thanx Michael, if that's the lowest price that's where we will get them.
That's pretty much the lowest price you'll find.

I think you can get $10 or $15 off each ticket with a marked Coca-Cola can, but you have to wait in the tocket line at the park. I would go with Publix tickets.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Ok, when we get off on that exit, what should we look for. I have never heard of Publix. Is it a grocery store? and what are their hours, as we will be leaving at 5:30 from Waxhaw (south of Charlotte) to go to Georgia.
Yeah, it's a grocery store. There are none that are very close to Six Flags, though.

Go to www.publix.com, and click on 'store locator.' There are several locations in Spartangburg and Greenville, South Carolina (I'm assuming you're taking I-85 to SFOG). There are also lots of stores near I-85 into metro Atlanta... but you can get tickets at any Publix store in both states.

Also, I reccommend checking www.georgia-navigator.com, so you can see if there are any accidents or if there is construction on any interstate on your way.

Thanks GP, that helps a lot! I normally wouldn't expect the GP to be that imformative ;)
