Celebration City's new hours and go-cart changes

Weekdays will be 2pm to 10pm.
Weekends will be noon to 10pm.
Plus no up-charge for the go-carts anymore.

That is good news - any word on if Putt-Putt will be free as well? I mean I get it free with my season pass, but still. Upcharging is so stupid anyway.

Upcharging is good WHEN you have something where capacity is easily outstripped by demand. Putt-putt is an excellent way of having a group of people relax for an hour (two if you're with Bass)....at a park, it shouldn't really be upcharged...IMO. Now the go-karts included? Celeb City was WELL worth it before, even with the go-karts extra and the later park opening. Best run flats ever...well, except for the manually operated ones...;)

Going to Celebration City for the coasters is NOT a bad thing. Excellent Windstorm, FUN (scary?) Miler, and OzCat (which I'm sure I've already RAVED about somewhere before)...;) But missing out on THOSE flats, that would be a real shame...

And if the lines *do* get long for the go-karts, doesn't that mean SHORTER lines for that WILD twister on the other side of Route 66...:)

Bill, the 10pm closing time is flexible just like last year when the park stayed open late to accomodate guests several times.

Bill - when you go to the 'City this weekend make sure you take your camera with you. I'm not sure when I will be able to get back down there again. You know where to send them when you get back. :)

DHo, I'll try, but I'm not garanteeing anything, my camera has been acting up as of late. I'll definately try though.

Sorry, I actually had plans already. Cousin's graduation. So I couldn't go... Maybe this weekend, saturday sounds awesome!
