I am pleased to tell you that Celebration City's new GCI wooden coaster had the first supports put up on Tuesday. I did take photos of the new wooden supports but It won't be until next week until I get the film processed and have an image I can give you guys. Celebration City is what used to be the old Branson USA Amusement Park, it was bought out by Silver Doller City in November of 2001. Silver Doller City is still in the process of rebuilding the park and will open in the spring of 2003.
I can have some of my friends that are on CoasterBuzz or Theme Parks Online to confirm the supports have been put up. I can't wait for the Spring of 2003 to ride it.
In other notes about the CC park, the Flying Dragon Wagon and the Fire Storm coaster is still up and with the trains sitting on the track. I am hoping they are keeping the Dragon Wagon there it's a preaty fun lil coaster.

Are you kidding, it is Jim Stafford: the ride!
Maybe it will be called "the Mother Road" since it will be in the area themed to Route 66?!?!

I hope it will be called something 'classic,' like Cyclone, Thunderbolt, Dipper, Jack Rabbit, Comet, Wildcat, Bobs, Tornado, etc....
I know they're not 'original' names, but those GCI layouts with the M-Flyer trains seem like they're from another era to me.
