CedarPoint-opoly

I heard about this new game from the Cedar Point newsletter. After taking a look at it and getting interested in it, I wanted to buy one, only to find out they were out of stock. I was wondering if the game is worth getting from anyone who has it. Also, is it sold at the park? If so, would someone be interested in buying one at the park and then sending it to me? I would them pay them back for everything including extra for their troubles.
Is this a Hasbro made game or what? I've seen where schools have done this (Colleges) If I see it at the park I'm buy my self one when I'm there july 15!

I bought one last time I was there at The Point, and I think it's really cool. I've always thought they should make a CP Monopoly game.

However, I didn't already own a Monopoly game, so it made it my only one. Some may not want to pay the $30 it costs to get a 2nd one. But I thought it was worth the money.

PB, I'm not going back to CP for a while, but when I do I'll try to look you up and see if you've got the game yet.

Take care and God bless!

I got mine on opening day. Definetly worth it.

Boardwalk is MF and TTD. The chance cards are pretty funny also like things you have to do at CP or go to first aid, etc.

IMO worth the $30. I do wish they would have more typs of coaster pieces or something. They have one coaster car, carousel horse, and some other pieces.

They had them at almost every CP store I've been too up there (except the really small stores.) Opening day they had them everywhere, and last week there was about 20 per store, so they are keeping them pretty stocked up there.

Can someone please look to see if there CP Monopoly game is made by Hasbro.
I saw one at the park one of the times I was there. It looks pretty cool and I was tempted to buy it.

No, the game is made by some little company I've never heard of before. I'm not sure what the name is, but I know it's not Hasbro.

Take care and God bless!

I was at cedar point sunday and i stayed at the marina for a night, they had the game there for 30 dollars and had plenty in stock that would probably be the best place to get one because not amny people know about where it is, it is by the marina in the little store that is like a corner store almost they have it there if you want it
Well, I haven't seen the game but would really like to buy next time I go to CP. Some of the posts here have me thinking though on what some of the "Cedar Point equivalents" are of the original game:

1.) Go to Jail = Stand in line for TTD

2.) Get out of Jail free card = restroom pass to leave line of TTD

3.) Property Tax = $8.50 for hot dog and fries

4.) Mediterranean Avenue = Cedar Point "games area" in front of park

5.) "You have been elected chairman of the board - pay each player $50.00" card = Waiting for front of Millennium Force, only to be ousted on your turn because a "handicapped" person walks right on and takes your seat

6.) Free Parking = no Cedar Point equivalent

7.) "Chance" card = free lunch ticket for Midway Market (will you or won't you get sick)

8.) "You've just won a beauty contest - Collect $10.00" card = "freeway passes" for Mean Streak

Just some thoughts - and I just BET one of these are in the actual game....

Yeah, you'll have no problem finding them. In the park I know they're in the Speed Zone, and if you're staying in Breakers they have a bunch in their giftshop as well.

Its funny because for Christmas last year I got "Make your own-OPOLY" and I made a CP monopoly very similar to the one in the store. What a good idea, though!
