Just wondering if anyone ever went to Cedar Point's Winter event?  I do believe it was in 1994?  I could be wrong and probably am.  I've seen t-shirts and received something in the mail about it back then.  Tell me what you thought of it and are there plans for another in the future?

Listen.  Do you hear that?  No?  Neither did the Point when they offered the holiday event.  It didn't do well at all and I would be surprised if it ever returns.

I received the info about it as well, being a season pass holder. But driving 2 hours and spending time wandering around a park just to see xmas lights on coasters didn't appeal to me. We've got a couple wonderful lightfest displays much closer.

but a carriage ride through the park in the off-season certainly sounds compelling.

wahoo skipper, he's here all night folks.  And remember the 7:00 show is completly different from the 10:00 show.

Must of been the atmosphere.  I know winter weather and Lake Erie don't go really well together.  I was at Winterfest at PKI back in the early 90's and enjoyed the show. Of course there were lots of tree and buildings to block the wind, etc.
