Cedar Point's Halloween float

I was on the CP Blog today (thats Google Reader) and they mentioned a surprise. It said to watch the webcam between 6-7 p.m. Being 5:50 I decided to wait around to see if there was anything worth seeing.

I had a hunch that it was going to be the float that Jeff talked about on the latest podcast. Right around 6:15 I found out that my guess was correct. I grabbed two screens of it which have links below if you didn't get the chance to see it.

Beats me. I didn't stick around last weekend to see the dress rehearsal.

Whoa. CP and animatronics? Wow. I'm a little less impressed that they bought and didn't make the thing. But, I'm more impressed it moves. :)

Don't quote me on this.... But back a few years ago I attended Bowling Green State University. I had a professor by the name of Gene Poor, who founded my program Visual Communication Technology. His other job was running his company called Life Formations, a company specializing in Animatronics located in Toledo. He mentioned a few times he does business with Cedar Point, though never specified what and where. I just though I would share, just because it would be cool if he has some stuff in the parade. :)
