Pink's would be an interesting addition to Cedar Point. While it makes sense at Knott's as a Southern California thing I'm not sure the name Pink's carries the same weight with people in Ohio and Michigan. But I suppose if the hot dogs are good enough no one will mind where the name came from.
"Thank the Phoneticians!"
You really think so??
I think Chipotle's burritos are so far superior in quality and taste... Then again, the location I tried was not the most busy/active, so that could be the reason. The chips as well were stale and blah. Yet the chipotle across the street has lines out the door :)
I did like the other options they had though, like the tortilla soup and such that was really good.
But that is just with my limited experience of Q'doba and my large experience with Chiptole. :)
LOVE skyline chili! I have one about ten minutes or so away from me, but sadly I never go enough...
I found a mock-recipe that is *very* close to the in-restaurant chili, so I have been making my 5-ways at home. The only thing missing is that special crack-cheese they use... They say its a cheddar, but something about how it melts and all that, store-bought can not compare! :)
We went to one down my Columbus that was full-service, it was great. (The one by me is not, you go up cafeteria style, get your food and go sit... So it was a new experience!).
Skyline Chili. Yum!
It's already being sold at Kings Island, so it wouldn't be too difficult to sell it at a few other parks as well.

Qdoba can't compare to Chipotle. They're not even in the same league. As someone else mentioned, it really comes down to the ingredients, and Chipotle has that nailed. The salsas are better, the marinades for the meats are better (well, the chicken anyway... I don't eat red meat), and frankly even the cilantro-lime rice is better.

I don't mind Qdoba, but if there's a Chipotle nearby they'll get my business every time. In addition to Chipotle's ingredients (and chips) being all around better, I've always found Qdoba's tortilla shells to be way too sticky. Both in my hands and on the roof of my mouth.
Sandusky now has both restaurants, so I can probably discard my Qdoba reward card.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I don't mind Chipotle, but if there's an actual Mexican restaurant nearby they'll get my business every time.
I agree, if you're talking about a 'real' Mexican restaurant (Not Tex-Mex, Josh ;) ). Now that I'm in NC and there is no shortage of authentic Mexicans who open authentic Mexican Restaurants, I'm hooked. If you go somewhere and they give you more rice and re-fried beans than anything else, it's not a 'real' Mexican Restaurant.
There are several good ones close to my job, and thankfully I work with several real Mexicans that have taken me or shown me the good places to go.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Steve, if you look hard enough you can actually find Skyline Chili in the can at some supermarkets. As for the cheese, I think the main thing is to get the most finely shredded cheddar you can. It's pretty damn close. :)
Looks like you can get the Skyline cheese too at least in some areas. I have only seen the frozen chili in the Cleveland area. Not as good as getting the actual but still pretty good.
Based on some of the other opinions I still stand by what I say. I think Q'doba and Chipotle burritos are virtually identical. I mean sure, Chipotle feeds their chickens non-hormone, lamb and rice formula and then serenade them while killing them so that must make them better. In the end they are both "Subway type" places that manufacture burritos. The ingredients are pretty much the same and I see no difference between the two. Of course I, like Jeff, don't eat much of red meat at all, so if the beef is different I wouldn't know I don't eat it.
