cedar point trip help please

I am planing on going multiple times to the Point but does anyone have an idea of what the crowds wikll be on June 11 or anytme that week? Will it be less crowded than in August which i always seem to do go in.

And when the open the gates at 9 or 930 do you have to stand right by the entrance or can you go and get into line?

Since I'm going 4-6 days throughout the summer, should I buy a season pass?

Yes, I would reccomend getting its $99 where admission is $42

Yes get a season pass for your money! The lines on June 11th would be TO bad, but it will probably be moderate because most schools are out by then.

June 11th wont be as bad as August, but your still going to have to wait for the bigger rides. I wouldnt expect lines over an hour.

If you're going to CP for 4-6 days, definetly get a pass. Only, stop at TOPS Friendly Market somewhere north of Columbus to buy a CP season pass voucher and save $10 (you'll need the $ for parking). Season Pass processing usually starts one hour before park opens (aka: 9am.) Yes, it usually is less crowded in June, but rain always deters crowds a lot in August. June is not too bad, most kids get out of school June 4-8th.

As for rides that open early. Usually you have to stand at the entrance to the ride you want to ride first but these rides usually open 1/2 hour before the rest (Mind you to the JOE COOL pass holders and CP resort guests they open 1/2 hour before the rest of the public can ride):

Wicked Twister
MForce
Power Tower
and sometimes Magnum opens up early.

I would also reccomend getting a pass. For the best value get it at Tops Market for $89, I'm pretty sure that they have a location somewhere in Sandusky. Also, lines shouldn't be too bad. You can check out the unofficial crowd calander for more info.

Are Sundays normally not crowded?

Speaking from being there last year from May 30 through August 24, Sunday is definitely the least crowded day. Also, be sure to check CP's website for the gate opening time on the day you visit. For some reason Dan Keller (the GM) has this flexible gate opening thing going and it's a bit confusing to both guests and employees. I'd like to see them just make it the same everyday. All rides are open BY 10AM. WT and MF will normally be running for Joe Cool Club and will just continue to run. Many larger rides like Magnum and Raptor also usually open 10-15 minutes before 10.
