Wow, I find that weird, I am going to CP from Michigan on my way to southern New Jersey this summer! I guess I would also like to know what park would be the best to go to(even though I'm already going to SFGADV and Morey's Piers) but I'd like some advice to.

Hey B&R Chiller what part of southern NJ you in?

Welcome back riders, how was your ride...Enjoy your day, here at Cedar Point, America's roller coast.

Well, it depends what you want in a park. If you want to boast your track record a lot, and don't mind having rude employees, then you could probably go to SF:WoA. If you want to have a good traditional style park, visit Knoebel's. If you want history mixed with new high tech thrills, check out Kennywood. If you want to visit a park with several great coasters with a good atmosphere, stop at Hershey's.

Personally, I can't make any recommendations because I've never been to any of them. :) This is definitely a hard decision to make only choosing one other park, but you know what you want better than I do, so do your homework, and have a great trip. :)

Good luck! I did the whole 516mile traveling from Nyc to Sandusky O.H  and it is so crazy! Have fun thou, I would suggest stoping at Kennywood since it isent to far off the way of I-80 and they have alot of good rides there, and travel during the day! I decided to travel at night becuase there is no traffic or anything and it is so dark up its like a whole new world! but i warmed up to it.

I would suggest either Kennywood or Hersheypark. They both have great coasters and are wonderful little parks that can each easily be done in one day. And of course Hershey's getting the new Roller Soaker this year, which should be lots of fun!
I agree with erica62371 on this one. Kennywood and Hershey are two great parks. Kennywood has a couple great coasters and some wonderful theming. The same goes for Hershey. The only downfall of Hershey is it is a little on the expensive side. Another good reason for Kennywood is it is re-theming the Pirate. But, Hershey is getting their Roller-Soaker.

I'd definitely suggest Kennywood or Hersheypark-- with a slight edge to Kennywood. They have some of the best roller coastes and it's a wonderful park, especially at night.

Im in Burlington NJ 40 min from Gadv and 1 hr from Moreys. At Cedar point which coasters are a must and which should i pass?

CP must coasters-

Wicked Twister, Millennium Force, Magnum, Raptor, Mantis, Gemini!(I LOVE this ride!), Iron Dragon, Power Tower

Fun but not a must-

Disaster Transport, Mean Streak, Corkscrew

Not fun-

Blue Streak, Wildcat, Cedar Creek Mine Ride

Can you tell me the same about SFGADV?

You put Iron Dragon on the must ride list, and Blue Streak on the not fun list? Blue Streak is a great airtime coaster and nostalgic.

I'm sorry, that's my opinion, my friend and i just have had bad experiences on Blue Streak(i.e. shirts flying off) and I guess I just find Iron Dragon to be a great suspended coaster for how small it is. The ending is just super fun, and the feeling of flying through the leaves and the trees, i don't know, I just love it. Submit your own opinion of CP coasters, I don't care, he asked my opinion, I wasn't aware I needed your approval. Have a nice day.:)

GAdv Must: Medusa, Chiller (Batman), NITRO, Houdini, Jumpkin' Jack Flash

Fun not must: Runaway Train, Chiller (Robin), B:TR, Skull Mountain (backseat)

Wack: Rotting Lumber (either side), GASM-II, Blackbeard, RoadRunner

I dont know about Viper, but that's going to be the first coaster I'll try to ride there!

As for the original question, you all KNOW which park I'm going to ring in with here: HERSHEYPARK! I personally do not not have the poetic command of the English language to properly describe the park, but it is about the ONLY park that I've *yet* to read a bad review of. KennyWood is cool as well...but they dont have a looping coaster...

Quite frankly, Joeboxers, the phrase "shirts flying off" is exactly WHY I like Blue Streak so much.  It's fast and a blast.

No one mentioned Dorney Park.  That's in PA too, and another Cedar Fair park.  I'll likely be making a trip from Michigan to NJ for a drag racing event in Englishtown NJ this summer.  I was planning to visit Dorney (with my CP season pass in hand).  And I hope to hit SFGAdv
