Cedar Point Travel Questions

I would be quite grateful if I could get a little help from our CP experts here on Coasterbuzz.

Would it be possible to get to Cedar Point without renting a car? Is there any sort of shuttle or bus that travels to Sandusky? And within Sandusky, is there some kind of shuttle service to the park, perhaps from the Breakers Express?

The only way I can really think of getting to the Point without renting a car would be take the train to S-Town and take a taxi from there. Unfortuantely there is no shuttle from Breaker's Express so you would have to stay on Point and just get a taxi to take ya back to the train station when you leave.

Outside the limits on Rt.250 is a Greyhound Station. Its about a 8 mile ride into town. When they drop you off, you call a cab, and there you are. This is the most cost effective.

If comfort is what you seek, Southwest flies into Cleveland, and you could pay a limo which is not all that expensive to drop you off at the resort. Judging by your track record, you are a LA guy, so Burbank to Cleveland is an option.

You best bet is the Raddison, since it is closer to the town, with the bowling alleys and other fine Ohio institutions, or Breakers Express, with the McDonalds across the street. Its not far to walk anywhere, but Sandusky has a few pockets that you will need to avoid. You can kill an evening by the ferry dock areas with the bars if you are of age. If not, well, again there is bowling again, an Ohio institution.

CP shuttles are at all the hotels, and all the pizza joints in town deliver, so you won't starve at night.
