A Huss Giant Top Spin - lol

While most Top Spins of late include water effects, why not a giant Top Spin where riders end up facing straight down at the water?

Would make for a needed updated flat ride as well as a new addition with a small footprint for Frontiertown.

X Factor, that's been done. It's called Tomb Raider: The Ride.

I was thinking more of a floorless model like KBF is getting. A topspin is a pretty good safe bet for CP to add (afterall 3 sisters parks now have one - DP, WOF, KBF).

Moosh, if you are going to count JTA as a coaster, then I will too. Let's see that brings me up to 287 now. :) Though, I will admit that I even have problems counting BSF as a coaster.

LOL Swoosh...be careful about adopting my guildlines. Your count could actually go DOWN!

I know about Tomb Raider but TR does not have a whole lake to hang riders over. What I sort of meant was to have the ride hang riders over water as well as have various water features like Tomb Raider or even King Kahuna at Kennywood.

Hey , If RCDB lists it as a coaster , it's a coaster.

*My way of settling it*.

Chattanooga needs a ITG2 Machine!

So does that make M:TR a coaster? LOL! Though I have not gotten that credit - nor do I plan on getting that credit. :)

Moosh, how exactly would my count "go down"?

Depends, Swoosh. How would you count Lightning Racers?

I just went to Virtual Midway and it says the new water park (in the old radison) will be getting a water coaster does that count for a another coaster for CP? Also This mean that there wont be a water coaster in the swan boat area. *** Edited 11/15/2003 1:21:28 AM UTC by SOiL***

By water coaster they mean "Master Blaster," which is in absolutely no way a roller coaster. It's just a fancy marketing word to get people to spend outrageous amounts of money on their new waterpark resort.

OMG I have a new sig!!!

You say that like it's a bad thing -- it's called MARKETING. :)

Yeah...like Enchanted Village marketed their Hopkins Shoot-the-Chute as a water coaster ;-)

Oh, I thought it was a hypothetical question. And I did answer it with the "leave our moms out of this" comment. ;) I count them as two, but only because I rode both tracks. If I only ride one (like when Stella is down all season on Twisted (*insert synonym for Sisters here*) then it is only one. Yes I count Gemini as two as well :)

Gemini? Two? Wow, that's a stretch.

I bet you count S:TE as two if you ride both, right? ;)

Oh, wait... is S:TE a coaster?

No, I don't count it as a coaster. If I counted that as a coaster, I would have to count Journey to Atlantis. ;) See this nasty cycle we are going though here. I count racing coasters as two. IMHO anytime I have to queue twice to ride both sides = a different coaster. Some "purists" will frown, but the heck with them! ;)

So how is your mom Moosh?

My mom is fine, thanks. Now, if you want to adopt my method of counting coasters your count is down by at least one. I count LR as one, not two.

See....told ya you'd be sorry! ;)
