Cedar Point song
The other night my drummer and I wrote a song aboot Cedar Point. It's a fun song. We wanted to make it kind of funny so we really stretched for some rhymes. The tentative title is "The Round-up" after our favorite food spot at The Point. The verse is slow and =w=eezer like and the chorus is fast and powerful. Anyway, enough rambling, here is the song. I was gonna put the chords up through the whole song but its a little hard. Anyway the verse is just the main hook anyway. After every line is done, the hook is played againe and a person comes in a talks.
Main hook: GG, ee, AA, DD CC, G
I like to ride the force, I like to ride my horse at Cedar Downs. Spoken: A super-fast carousell.
I like to ride Demon Drop- at 39 dollars a pop you can get in. Spoken: For a fun day at the park.
Magnum used to be the best but now I must confess that Force is number one----

I like to get the best tacos at Los Gatos. Spoken: Down on Frontier Trail, no tamatoes please.
After drinking Mountain Dew I wanna ride Gemini a few times. Spoken: Where I lost my hat, my precious hat.
I ride Raptor and kick the sky then I eat some chilly cheese fries. Spoken: What a mess!

On Mantis I stand up- sometimes I wish I had my cup. Spoken: Oh, it's not that bad.
At Cedar Point you can go to Alaska. Spoken: Person #1 No you can't. Person #2 Yes you can. Person #3 Disaster Transport.
Pulling G's on Wildcat, Kenny can't ride cause he hurt his back. Spoken: Person #1 VROOM VROOM. Person #2 That's a fact. Person #3 ST. LOU-WAY
super fast verse: Sprinting at the stroke of nine just to be the first in line. [back to normal tempo] Spoken: Runnning of the Bulls.
It's twelve a' clock I have to leave...that's my only pet peeve.
Thats the end. We felt we covered most of what Cedar Point meant to us. If you see three tall guys and a midget walking around w/ Christopher Peeper shirts on, you better say hi. We will be there all day Wednesday.

Cedar Point will always be the "Amazement Park" to me. The "Hold On!" jingle is irritatingly horrible!
You guys should do like a twenty-five minute long acid-phycidylac rock tune about CP, it should have 14 verses, one for each coaster, and a wailin' solo after each verse.
