Cedar Point Recreations...

I've seen a few recreations of Cedar Point, but by no way were they complete or comprehensive. Is anyone here working on a Cedar Point recreation that parallels the masterpiece for the original RCT? If so, how far are you? Can we see your progress?
Right now I'm just working on the landscape. I've been using the satalite photo to try to get everything right. I've already created all the rides with the exception of Mean Streak and Dragster. The only problem is that I don't have alot of extra time to finish it. I'll share it when it's done but it will be a while.
Cool. I know what you mean about it taking up time. I've thought about constructing the park, but it's such a large undertaking that it would take up so much time. Keep up the hard work.

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.

I'm Currently working on on right now, and I must say I think it looks awsome. I'm only up to the Frontier Trial/Mine Ride right now and have yet to build Hotel Breakers. I'm trying to capture the look and feel of Cedar Point, but it's taking a long time.

Am I allowed to post screenshots here? And if so how, thanks.

It's a site where you can post pictures, graphics, etc. for free. It takes just a few minutes to register, and then you can upload your screen shots. Also, if you want feedback (not sure if you do or don't at this stage of the building of the park) you could upload it to the games.coasterbuzz.com and see what people think.

I would make one if I actually been there and I was good at making recreations. I suck though, but it is the best park in the world. I can tell by what everyone says about it. I would also like a recreation for my game.

Long live Shockwave at SFGAM!!!

Im working on a recreation and im trying to make it as detailed as possible. I've only finished the main midway and the ocean maidway and i recreated all the rides in that area. i made the land scapes so detailed that every midway garden is and exact replica. made the colosium building (how ever u spell it ) and the carousel building. soundsgood unh? hopefully tue ceadar point fans can apreciate my level of detail and realate to some of the recreated buildings.

But ive only only begun to stracth the surface of it being a great park so give me some suggestions of thing's i shouldnt miss

Here are some screens of my Cedar Point recreation, so please tell me what you think.

Sorry I took so long, my internet srevice hasn't been working right in a couple of days.

That link didn't work when I clicked on it. Is there any other ways to see your CP recreations?

Don't forget, when making CP recreations, keep the trees to a minimum.

Goccp1,

I miss Idora Park too! I was only 3 years old when the park closed. I wish I could have rode the Wildcat and Jack Rabbit!

Very nice! The park is coming along wonderfully. I'm anxious to see how guests handle the massive size of the park as well as the huge midways. The one thing that disappoints me about RCT is it seems that the guests get too tired too quickly. I like to put benches all around the midways to cut down on fatigue.

I think that your Oceana Midway looks great...be sure to go overboard on the trash cans, as CP has 2000 of them. ;)
