Cedar Point Question

I've got another idea!

Ride in a helicopter to the park, and jump off it when the Space Spiral cabin reaches the top!

YOUNGSTOWN 2010

Ok if ur goin for three days why dont u buy a season pass? u should think about that before u start a stupid post.

you can rest when you die ........... peace

Hey greendaykid, how old are you, 12? Does your mommy know you're on here? It was a perfectly good question since many parks have discounts for multi-day visits. Why don't you think of that before you post your attempt at juvenile humor.

Riding the Bull anywhere but the back is merely going for a walk.
Wow. What an insightful post! "ur" isn't a word, and neither is "u." Also, why not read the replies before responding to this "stupid post?" Had you read the post and replies, you would know that the person doesn't know what to do and needs other people's input. Later, MarimbaGuy87.

The only difference between stupidity and genius is genius has limitations.

greendaykid, wait until you are old enough and tall enough to ride roller coasters before you start posting on Coasterbuzz.

If you haven't rode Raging Bull in the back row you haven't lived. The feeling on that first drop cannot be explained in words!

Ok do not get offended from a kid. He is just like a lot of other peoplein this world, annoying. But anyway I would but the Joe Pass Thing, I think its the best deal but im not gonna do the math.

lose one coaster, lose all coasters, than you will lose yourself

Let's cut Curtis some slack. I know, I think it's hilarious that he's rolling the "u" here pretending to be someone he wasn't last year when he signed up and set up his sig file with "you" spelled properly -- twice. We have probably all gone through phases like that.

The question is more than fair. But if the season pass is $99, it's only a better deal if the original poster is going to be spending three full days and paying retail each day.

If he's arriving late the first night, you can get the Starliner discount after 5pm. Unless if this year's brochure is different -- and you can order one online -- there should be buy one get one free Starliner tickets. The brochure has other discounts on full-day tickets. If you stay at a Cedar Point resort (and that included Breakers Express) a 2-day pass with access to Soak City is just $62. Three days would be a bit cheaper than the season pass plus you get the water park for free.

I second Paris' recommendation. If you are planning to hit Soak City, Resorts will sell you a 2-day ride-n-slide plus a one-day park-only ticket for about the same cost as a park-only season pass. If you aren't staying at Resorts, you should be able to get similar prices at AAA. It will be *much* less than a combo pass. We enjoyed Soak City a lot, but we also have kids that are in the toddler/pre-school range, so the big coasters are out of bounds during family trips.

We did this last year when I took the wife and kids, and even with one more visit during Halloweekends, I still spent less on admission with AAA/Resorts tickets than a combo pass would have cost. However, we had so much fun last year that I convinced my wife we needed combo passes so we could go "whenever". As she says, I have a sickness. However, compared to other possible vices, this one is pretty benign.

If you want to be anal and plan everything out (like I did), order the getaway guide, call AAA, and call Resorts, and see which combination works out to be cheaper. Of course, the time you spend on doing all of this will be worth more than the $10 you eventually save, but planning coaster trips is often its own reward. :)
