Cedar Point question.

I'm probably going to CP July 14, 15 and 16, a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Is this a good time to go, in that crowds shouldn't be too much of a concern? Are there any tips that someone could share so I can maximize my experience and see everything? Thanks.
1) I wouldn't worry about crowds too much in July during the week. If you're going to be there 3 days, you'll have plenty of time to ride everything.

2) Tips to maximize the experience? I would say just go and enjoy yourself. Don't plan what you're going to do, just let it happen. Like I said, 3 days is enough time to see and do everything. Just have fun. :)

If you have to go in July Mon-Wed is definalty the way to go, expect lines but they wont be too bad. Since you are there for 3 days I suggust mid-day naps, its when the park is most crowded and most unconfertable in the summer; they are a god send and will have you going at full speed for the night time rides. Oh and in case you were wondering, Mean Streak, Magnum, Raptor, MF, TTD and Mantis are the coasters most worth taking a night spin on.

If you are not the napping type or dont feel fufilled by not being on the Point for the full day I suggust Soak City. They have this Adventure River which is long, has some random waterfalls and buckets to keep you confertably wet, waves and stands in the shadow of Magnum so you can watch happy riders most of the ride. Did I mention they dont make you get off after one lap? There has been days where I have been on that ride for 2+ hours and 10+laps it is wonderful.

Stay on the Point, more specificly Breakers (if you can afford it) it is wonderful to be able to wake up, and walk to an amusment park. Plus you get in early so you can hop on TTD before the park opens and then hit the other major players with little or no line while everyone else is getting there first ride on TTD. Plus there is a TGI Fridays in Breakers, which even if you arent staying there is a must for a normal meal while at the park.

Place yourself in line for MF during the Summer Spectactular, that way you can sort of see the show but also not miss any riding time. Be sure to get Fronteir Elephant Ears at some point. Wait until 1 and be sure to get on before 8 if you want to ride the Gemini as a racer.

Thats about all I can think of right now. Have fun :)

Thanks for the recommendations. I went to the Point last summer but it was in mid-June and I went towards the end of the week so the crowds were very overwhelming. The Soak City thing sounds pretty cool, as I'm not a nap person. I like packing as much punch in a day as possible. I'm only 24 so if my body can handle it, I might as well take advantage of it. :) I live in MD so it's not exactly easy getting over there so I need to make it last. I just keep salivating over the thought of riding TTD!
