Cedar Point question

I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good day to hit up cedar point for like 7 hours when there wouldn't be many waits. I'm planning a wednesday so that shouldn't be to bad regardless.

I noticed its open during the week starting the week of like may 14th, but only till 7pm. that would still be good.

I also don't want to hear all this "I dont have a crystal ball" junk. Enough people visit the park enough times that you guys can come up with a good day.

Thanks for the help.

Also, Is the Maverick construction on time? Will it be opening with the park on may 12th?

Well, if you do not want the "I don't have a crystal ball" routine, I suggest you get yourself over to Pointbuzz.com and look it up.

Somewhere over there is a page that lists exactly what you are looking for.

By the way, I have been a Season Passholder to Cedar Point for 6 years now, and there is no sure-fire way to predict what you are asking for. I can tell you which days are slower then others in a given week, but it still does not mean it will be a "good day." I have seen hour(s) long lines every day of the week, regardless of being a Saturday, or a Wednesday.

I've been to CP in the middle of July on a Saturday and didn't wait for anything more than 30 minutes.

If you're smart about getting there early and knowing what order your riding stuff before you get in the gate that will matter more than what day you go.

Check to see what special events/activities are going on that day; i.e., lots of school kids on some band trip may ruin your plan. A Wednesday in May will probably be better than just about any other day later in the year, BUT it could also be crowded. Ya never know. Believe in the crystal ball...it's not just a cheap reply.

When i've been there before I know the routine for hitting stuff so you get maximum rides. But I am going just to ride TTD, MF and Mavrick. Maybe a spin on raptor. So having a good plan as far as ways to attacking the park goes is irrelevant.

I'm gonna check point buzz as soon as I post this.

thanks

Enough of us have been there enough times to know that there is sometimes no logic behind why some days are busy and some aren't. You can follow the best strategy in the book and still get stuck with a crazy busy day.

Mr. Scott speaks the truth.

Stay away from the Summer months and you'll be fine.

Seriously, 7 hours is enough time to ride 4 coasters almost any day anyways.

It should be enough time, BUT...one word: INTAMIN. ;)

Haven't heard anything anywhere about Maverick being behind schedule, either.
