Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

hehe, I'm in those pics (orange sweetshirt in 5th pic). BTW, nice pics, and didn't trhe skyride get new paint also this year? I couldn't exactly remember if it did, but it looked weird to me with the bright blue paint.

The shooting gallery is gone in the frontier town area? :(

I guess so as long as the one in the main midway is still there, I'm happy (and so is my flash on my camera).

The park looks a lot more vibrant this year... very pastel colors with the vibrant orange & blue. I wonder if this is what Cedar Po!nt was aiming for. It seems over the past couple of years, they have been going for a lot more "stand-out" colors on their buildings & rides. This includes

Walking around the park yesterday something was different in the Frontier Area and I just couldn't put my finger on it. Thanks for pointing that out Walt!

I think the new Sky Ride station is really funny, it reminds me too much of Paramount's Nickelodeon Zone. The blue, orange, and lime greem colors make the building really stand out. Having the Donut Time shop in that area was a good move as well. It's one of the first things that guests will see.

I have just one little gripe on the Donut Time shop, and that is there didn't seem to be any organization as far how you get your goods. I figured it would be similar to a grocery store or bakery where you tell the person behind the donut counter what you want, and then take it over to the cashier. I ended up waiting a few minutes for someone to help me and instead walked down to the cashier and asked if we just told the cashier what we wanted. To me she didn't seem to know, but ah well, it was the morning of opening day, it's a new shop and I'm sure there is some tweaking to do.

Actually, that's where Donut Time is currently standing. There are no more shooting galleries in the park.

The sky ride platform/station looks PIMP...lol. I also really like the new dodgems sign. I like the direction the park is going in with more vibrant colors.

You know that would explaain the god awful paint job on PKD's Shockwave.

The ride sits right over the Nick Central section of the park after all....I say remove FOF from it's building & place SW in there so I don't have to look at it anymore while I'm down there because that thing just looks worse than it rides & makes me want to puke whenever I look at it.
