Cedar Point on Sunday or Monday?

I have the option of going to Cedar Point on Sunday or Monday. I was originally thinking Monday would be slower but their website says Sunday is a slower day- any suggestions?

Also I have not been to the park since 1999- any touring tips?

I would say if your coming from far away, see if you can get a hotel, but on such short notice that may be hard. That way at least you would get the perks. First thing do a time consuming ride, TTD or Millenium is a good start. I would also then move towards the back or hit up the middle area coasters, because they move kinda fast. Not a fan of Arrows, well then hit maggie anyway. Its a short line and it really isnt as bad as everyone says, i think give yourself some leg room with the lap bar and sit middle of the train. Much more comfortable that way. Then I would spend my time hitting flat rides in the middle of the day. Then move towards the front because raptor will have shorter lines. Prime time for me is always around five or a bit after. Then hit the big ones again for night rides. Dont miss out on MaXair, if you get the chance ride it, only if you havent been on a Huss Frisbee before.

Some choice dining at least for me, is the midway market, i think on weekends its cheaper but i could be wrong, it was like 13 -15 dollars for all you can eat and for the most part the food is very good. Also although expensive check out Red Garter for beer, check out the show in there, the performances are pretty nice. The performers are also very hospitable. So with all that being said hope you have fun.

I am coming from Cow-lumbus (I don't think I can say our other nickname without getting into trouble- this ain't themeparkreview after all) and will drive up in the early AM and stay with a friend in the evening.

BTW I am also taking myself to 6FGAm in October to celebrate 5 years of sobriety- but thanks for the beer tip =)

Go on Sunday - Between working all last summer and part of this one, I noticed Sunday seemed to be consistantly the slowest day of the week in the park. Mondays normally were one of the busier days of the week, with crowds closer to Saturday levels.

Go on a Sunday. Mondays are crowded and not as much fun. Sunday evenings are awesome. Definently ride Millennium Force. That should be your first priority.

I like disco.

I think Sundays are best because the lines are less crowded and same w/ the path ways. I have heard Saturdays were insane except for opening day. But on Sundays maybe Raptor maybe queued besides Millenium Force, TTD, and Wicked Twister maybe Magnum XL 200 might have a wait. So my Advice is go on Sunday or try a Wednesday and see i heard that day is not bad either.
Thanks for all the advice- unfortunately had an issue that arose and wasn't able to go at all- but the show I am currently working on is Dark Mondays- so I may be stuck going on a Monday or some other day- but thanks for all the help anyways!
