Cedar Point on Labor Day Weekend

Hi Folks,

Due to unavoidable scheduling issues with my USA trip this summer, I'm going to end up at Cedar Point over Labor Day Weekend. It's not ideal, and I wish I could get there at some other stage, but I'm stuck with that.

Anyway, I've read what Cedar Point's site has to say about such holidays -- that they don't attract a significantly larger croud than usual. Is this true?

Has anyone been there at Labor Day Weekend over the last few years that can shed some light?

Thanks,
Richard

Last year, the Sunday before Labor Day was packed - probably one of the busier days I've seen. Labor Day itself wasn't bad at all. Holidays themselves usually aren't bad, but there are usually one or two days around them that will be bad. July 5 will probably be one of those days this year.

I went to CP during Labor Day weekened two years ago and it wasnt all that busy at all. Labor Day itself the park was a virtual ghost town. I would definately go again that weekend in the future.

I have been at CP over Labor Day weekend the last two years and it's busy, but not like a weekend in July. Monday is the best day to go, Sunday's your next best bet. Just FYI, I was at SFWoA on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend last year and the crowds were very light...actually did a half day at the park after spending the morning at the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. Have fun! :)
Crikey, I'm heading to Ohio around that time too. I hope to hit the big three in three days......

Hoping to hit the hall of fame also....heard it is of the chain!

What do you guys think crowds will be like July 7th and 8th, a monday and a tuesday. Because thats when I'll be there.
