Cedar Point officer loves his job

Despite the sometimes hard work and long hours, Tim Rutherford, a police lieutenant who started at the park 28 years ago, loves his job -- and loves to talk about it almost as much. Rutherford often talks to students about his adventures at the theme park since he was approached about three years ago by social studies teacher Bill Young, who asked Rutherford to talk to one of his classes.

He had one misstatement. There have been deaths on Cedar Point rides but not as a result of the rides themselves.

He is a good man.

wow the love of ones job is truly seem here. What a great place Cedar Point is to be employed for such a long time. I wish him all the best.

The same thing happened to me, I logged out then back in now it works fine.

To me, a job I like to do is the most important thing. Job security is second. From the outside it looks like he has both.
