Cedar Point now has third live webcam!

I miss this place more everyday.  Can't wait to go back next year.

Is that from Magnum?

I believe the camera's located on the newest addition to the Hotel Breakers, Breakers Tower.

Cedar Point has WAY too much time on their hands...
Honestly, kRaXLeRidAh, what does that mean?
-----------------
Your right Kraxle, they do have to much time. Maybe they could start giving a little of that extra time to the construction of a few new coasters. :)

"This time I think ... I think it's ... it's going to work!" - Dr.Bruce Banner
I'd have to say no to that kRaXLeRidAh.  Cedar Point must be constantly busy by the way they keep their property up; the cleanliness, the landscaping, etc.

I think Cedar Point just wants to show off what a great job their doing with keeping up the park!

Yet another coaster-craving yuppie

Right on Coastercraver. What they are doing is helping thier business, not hurting it by telling everyone "We have too much time, look, we just put up another stupid webcam!"

By showing off the property like that, it encourages people to visit the park even more. I must say, it works well, I can't wait until next summer when I get to goto CP, and the webcams sure don't help the time go faster, but instead help it go slower by making me want to go even more.

-----------------
Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?

i think theyre stupid...its gonna be the same picture 24/7, except for how bright the sun is...The cameras should be closer to the floor, like at an entrance of a ride or something..at least be able to see people

Dude that makes no sense at all.  Do you think they just got bored so someone went out and bought a webcam or something?

UpsideBlue, they already have a live video facing Raptor and you can watch the train go by and the people walk.

i would love to see inside the of millenium forces station to see the  reactons of people gettig on and off
I know they would never do it, but it would be cool to have a Millennium Force Queue Line Cam so you could see how many people were in line on a given day. It's so unpredictable!
-----------------
yeah, maybe it will stop all those "how long is MF's line on this day, or that day, maybe this day even?" threads.

It would be cool to have it on MF like the coaster shows!

SFMM line cutters are the braviest in the world.
Companies do not make millions of dollars by having too much time on their hands.  I agree with TrBiggar about the webcams encouraging people to visit and not only that, but it keeps people coming back to their web site.

I wish more parks would do this, I would love to see one at Kennywood and Idlewild.  Maybe Kennywood can trade their Phantom Phanatic scanner in for a web cam. :)

If you live close enough, you can use these three webcams to decide if its busy or not to make that four hour visit. Or if they were like the ones at IOA you can zoom around and all that and see how full the queues are

It's no lawn cam...

It's a shame you couldn't see the eye candy up close today on the beach. Or the midways. Or Soak City.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm well on my way to being a dirty old man before getting to 30!

LOL!  How unclever of me to not get that...oh well, good one then.  ;)

"No listenin', you hear me?"

woah, you know what would be amazing??? It'd be near impossible though.. If they had that live video camera by raptor BUILT INTO the front of a MF train, and broadcast it to a receiver in the station somewhere......you could see the train pulling into the station, the people waiting to board, AND the ride as it's going through the course.  Now that would be a feat to get that to work!!
