Hi everyone, in a few weeks I'll be going to Cedar Point and would like to use the marina entrance for the first time so I can head to MF first. Will I be able to walk from the main parking lot to the entrance? And does the blue pathway I've read about still exist? I saw it on google maps but it hasn't been updated since 2011. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Yes it's there and yes you can.
If you can, park closer to where you'll see Blue Streak's turn around. Your luck there will depend on how early you show up. The back half of the walking path is on the marina side of the road, but you'll figure that out.
With Valravn right at the Marina gate there will be people waiting to get in, but if your goal is MF then you'll have a few of the front-gaters beat by a minute or two.
I plan on parking in the main lot, not the marina. I was just checking I'd be able to walk to the marina gate from the main parking lot.
Yes, you can park in the main lot and walk to the Marina entrance. If you are able to take part in the early entry (9- 10AM) (Platinum Season Pass / Resort Guest), I would suggest arriving around 8:30AM and you should be able to be one of the firsts on either MF or Valravn.
If you really want to make good use of time I would suggest hitting up Valravn, MF, and then Maverick (in that order). That way you can start the day with all 3 behind you with little to no wait. Providing all 3 are running.
Hope you have a good visit!

MF's lines aren't as long as they used to be and they still move just as fast. Valravn would be advisable to get on first as you're not going to be willing to wait in line again for it later....same goes for Maverick too. Those two rides are long waits and lower capacity/slower load times.
