Cedar Point Hotel Question

This upcoming week I will be visiting Cedar Point and will be staying at the Sandcastle Resort. I know that being a resort guest earns me 30 minutes of ERT on Millennium Force and Wicked Twister. Now for my questions.

1) What do I need to gain access to this ERT (ie: Do I have to ask for a special pass from the hotel, or does the room key do the trick)?

2) If, unfortunately, Wicked Twister is down, does Cedar Point allow another ride to be used instead? (Not that I wouldn't be completely satisfied with MF ERT.)

Thanks in advance,

John

We just came back from our annual Cedar Point trip staying at the Breakers as usual. My understanding is you get in the park earlier than non residents. We did, as did everyone else from the hotel. That means you get an hour of riding with basically no lines no matter which ride you choose, because all the campers and hotel guests combined don't total enough to create lines. I've never heard of getting special privileges on a particular ride. Maybe someone else knows something more than I do.
