Carrie Boldman, who has led Cedar Point since 2021 as vice president and general manager, will retire at the end of the year. Her replacement has not been announced.

It is interesting to me that they have announced her retirement without announcing a replacement. I don't read anything into that, but just find it interesting.
I'm too far removed to have any insight into Carrie as a leader, but I will acknowledge that the merchandise at CP was vastly improved under her, and I understand that to be her area of expertise. That might seem like a little thing, but it matters. As an aside, I've noticed that the quality of Disney merchandise seems to have taken a step back over the past couple of years. It is noticeable though I have no idea how much people really care.
