I saw one of these things at Buffalo Bill's (home of the Desperado) in Primm (stateline) Nevada. I didn't ride it, but it looked interesting. If I had never been to CP, I might have tried it.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Sweet! A perfect way to get through the winter blues. I think an arcade around here (Jacksonville FL) might have one, I'll have to go check.

"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip!"

~From the brilliant mind of Homer J. Simpson.
I rode that 2 years ago at IAAPA. Its okay, but if you are like me(most of us), and know what the ride will do, it is a less than exciting ride. But, if you have never been on a CP coaster, than it is a good thing.
*pulls out wallet and looks in it*.... *empty* Grr.. I need a job! :) Would love to have it!

Well if I had $17,995 laying around my house I know what I would buy with it!

Get ready to fly over Six Flags Oh..er I mean Six Flags Worlds of Adventure this summer with X-Flight!
Actually, ANY coaster simulator sucks & nothing beats the Real McCoy!

There are a few fully enclosed simulators like the CP one. Plus there's the big 'flight' simulators like the one in RCT. 'Rides' I've been on are Astro Canyon CGI Rollercoaster, has anyone seen it? I have it on tape from when it was the opening segment to a MAD TV type show.

Real coasters are; Magnum XL-200 & Mean Streak, can't remember others. Hmmm, looks like this sim. is by the same company.

I've changed my tune. IMO, they ain't worth the $17,995. I would use the $$$ to ride EVERY COASTER IN THE WORLD!!!

Has anyone played G-Lock Air Battle on the SEGA R360 Servomachine Twin Axis Platform? You get in a circle in-line with the seat, put on lap belt, then OTSR & finally buckle that on both sides. A good thing too, as the platform flips you head-over-heels both ways & flips sideways as well i.e. it pitches & rolls, but has no yaw.

I would buy that! :) Once rode it three times in a go. Would love unlimited rides as its US$3 per ride :(

What about the Circitron? It's a portable life-sized gyroscope. Your feet are strapped down & you stand in a padded ring & grab the handles above if you want. Then just fling your body in all three axes. Astronauts use them to practice moving in zero gravity.
