Cedar Point coasters at a mall near you

Well now I have seen everything. For the sum of $1.00 your kids, or about 1 and 1/2 adults, can go on a ride called "Kiddie Coaster". It's a motion simulator with a monitor that has a choice of either riding Gemini or Corkscrew. I've only seen 1 of these things. It's in Chicago Ridge Mall, 15 minutes south of Chicago.

Ive seen one at wildwood, with all of the coasters (with the exceptions of TTD & WT). Pretty neat actually, I enjoyed it.
How long is the Queue? ;)

Those have been around for a while, haven't they? At least a year or two. There's been one in the Lehigh Valley mall since we moved to Allentown - that was November of 2001. It only features like 6 of the coasters.

They have one at a Laser Tag place near me. It's two bucks for Meanstreak, Magnum, Gemini, Corkscrew, and Mantis. Then the thing moves around a little bit. I think I went on it once and then I just went to the back and grabbed on.

It doesn't come anywhere near any of them, of course.

I noticed the one at Berkshire Mall, Wyomissing, PA a little over a year ago. How ridiculous would it look if a 28 year old guy climbed into one? Of course, now that I lost about 70 pounds since I first saw it, maybe it won't look as bad:).

One of these machines (featuring Mantis, Magnum, Mean Streak, etc...) was at Scandia Park waaaay out in California when we visited in March.

It was kinda weird.

There are 2 versions of this ride: a full-size 2-seater, and the smaller kiddie version. The full-size is no longer made due to the manufacturer going out of business (poor design led to constant problems with the ride). The kiddie version was picked up by a different company (ICE-Innovative Concepts in Entertainment, for those of you keeping score)and was redesigned to supposedly be more reliable.

Tim Brown (Cleveland Plain Dealer) about TTD: "Think of it like sex: a lot of anticipation for an instant of whoopee. But man, with whoopee this intense, who cares how long you have to wait?"

All the company would have to do is change the films to X and Deja Vu. Then when the simulator would breakdown it would be like the real rides! :)

Signature will be closed today. Sorry for the inconveinance.

on the dover ferry, there is a huge one (i'm guessing the older one), and it had most of the coasters (3 or 4 years ago...), the bad thing about it though was that didn't syncronise the ride, it just bumped you when ever.

i've seen one of those at the New York New York casino in las vegas. it is 2 dollars to use. It has mean streak, mantis, gemini, corkscrew, and magnum. "pretty cool". it is in the arcade section near the manhatten express.

"Never eat rasberries boys"
Yes, there is one in Maplewood Mall in Minnesota and I think they may have Millenium Force, not sure though. I never actually spent time looking at it so its sort of a guess.
Is there any of those type of rides in any mall in Michigan?? I was just wondering cause I live in Michigan and hasnt seen any. If anyone knows, let me know. Thanx.

The arcade in Camp Snoopy Mall of America also has one of those.
Disaster,

PuttPutt on the Ypsi-Arbor strip has had the old one with 6 coasters for a few years now.

Hey pkidelirium, I beleive that they have that same simulator right here in columbus at dave & busters as well.
They dot a bunch of Chuck E. Cheeses out here in the Chicago area (the kiddie machine with Blue Streak and Gemini).

Yep, D&B in Columbus has this one.

I rode a simulator of the Beast in Pigeon Forge, TN, once. The coolest thing was, the video was so old that the Bat was still there.
