That's a pretty nice view. You can actually see something meaningful there (namely how crowded it is). I love the glow of sunrise at the park. It's a shame most people never get to see it from the midway as the sun comes up through Giant Wheel.

That is a NICE view for the camera. I wonder if they will set up other cameras around the park some day. Maybe one at the very top of Millennium Force's lift hill looking down...that would be awesome watching the train come up every once in a while and see pure fear :)

just judging from what is at the top left-hand corner of the camera view, I am guessing it's at the top of demon drop. It's not protected by anything like a clear box because right now it's raining at CP and there's raindrops all over the lens. Not that I now allot about webcams or anything but wouldn't ya think that if you were to put a webcam up, you could make some sort of clear acrylic box to house it in or something? Maybe the cam is extremely weatherproof I dunno.. I do know this, I got my first taste of CP last summer. I heard of this radical new coaster being built called Millennium Force and something in my gut made me decide to go. Boy, I'm glad I did because it turned out to be the the experience of a lifetime. I made a vow that I was going to go back AT LEAST once per summer if not more. I'm so stoked that I get to go back this year on June 25,and 26th. I'm going to ask my girlfriend to marry me when we ride MF. I have about 20 seconds to say and do my thing so wish me luck everyone. :)

It's mounted on Demon Drop, obviously, because that's what it says in the upper left hand corner.
By the way...the quality of the webcam is absolutly horrible at night...I guess it doesn't have auto-focus or anything...but at night, it seems pretty pointless right now.

Sorry about the double post...but about the "clear box" for the camera...don't you think if it rained the box would get drops of water on it just as much (or more) as the lense?

I assume you mean to ask her on the lift hill. That way she can let out one long loud YES on the way down.

MABrider: no, she doesn't read the threads. :) SHe doesn't even have a computer. I'm so excited about this, you all just have no idea. I know this is OT but oh well. I just wish there was some way to capture that moment (picture/video) Any suggestions?
