Cedar Point Cam. - CoasterBuzz

Does anyone know about this cam? (the website is http://www.cleveland.com/cedarpointcam/) Well anyway, I was just wondering why the time is not correct. It is behind 2 hours. Does anyone know why? It's been like that for a long time now. I'm just wondering if it can be fixed.

And also, does the cam ever change it's view to a different coaster? It's been showing Raptor for a while. I thought it would change by now.

Well, I think you'd be better off asking whoever runs www.cleveland.com to change it rather than asking here since Jeff/CoasterBuzz/GTTP have nothing to do with that webcam.

YES, I have known about this WebCam since last year, Its One of the best WebCams on the net because its contains a Live Video Feed of the park, so you can happly watch Raptor go up its lift, and round the loop all day :):)

Dont know why the time thing is different, It certaintly is quite strange, as it was working fine over the last month.

Also, the webcam does change position, but strangly hasnt done so yet this season because its still Showing Raptor. This is a shame because I really loved this unique feature last year. I remember once when the webcam showed Raptor and Blue Streak, another time it showed the Dodgems Ride, and on another time, It showed the Main Entrace, so you could see the running of the Bulls to MF ;)

Lets Hope the cam does eventually change later this month maybe??? I would love to see something else

Seeing as how I am lame and I use this cam for entertainment purposes, it saddens me that the video version has been down for the past 24 hours or so... :(

I don't think they will change that camera. It's an the office above the arcade/guest relations, and that's the only window on that particular room. The only thing out their window is the view you see now. If they were goign to point it somewhere else it would probably have to be relocated.

The camera has changed slightly one a couple occasions this year. Just a week or so ago, it was pointed up toward the main gate with the midway carousel in view. Before that it was aimed at Raptor. I like the present view because you can see trains on the lift, going through the vertical loop, and coming into and going through the final helix. It is amazing to watch how consistently CP crews dispatch trains. Sit there with a stopwatch and their dispatches are always right around 1:12 and rarely more than ten seconds off.
