Cedar Point animated banner back

Thats got to be the most beautifull computer image ever. Props to the designer. Simply amazing!

First thought: It's a freakin' banner!

Second thought: I'll go anyway and check it out ... wow this is annoying addictive ...

Third thought: Holy details! All the train colors on MF, MS and TTD! Wicked Twister is in "dumbed down mode" like in reality! TTD has plane strobes!

No problems here (Firefox 1.01, Mac OS X) other than the fact that the animation is ridiculously slow (no more than 2-3fps).

I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.

My browser CPU Util jumps 50% when I'm on the CP site. Looks great, but it's almost like they have too much detail as far as performance goes.

Did everyone notice the "Option" button next to the close button on the banner, where you can choose what rides operate. You can have Mean Streak, Gemini, Space Spiral, Ripcord & Mantis. Operate. I didn't notice anyone else who's pointed this out yet.

That's because they said it didn't have any information, that doens't mean that the animated map wasn't kick ass.

It crushes my pc and its a 3.2ghz. It looks like they made all the rides vector art, it would probably run faster if the rides and all the bg art were a bitmap. Pretty nice though, I dig that the sky changes with the time of day. Does it change with a sunset too?

On topic: yes, it (the banner) is quite intensive visually, seems to run MUCH better on the work connection....;)

The Banner is nice, but what’s the point? People don’t go on cedarpoint.com to look at a banner. They go there to find info about the park.

The site got a whole bunch of hits because of it, hits leads to people clicking around getting excited about the park. Its the special touch that gets your co-worker or friend to send it to you. And so on and so on.

KU is no #1 seed, I dont get it.

Good show! Wow what a Sunday, Illinois looses and kU looses to MU. kU only lead the first 5 minute of the game and trailed the rest of the way out. It was quite the game. :)

It's about time the Tigers got back to beating KU in Columbia. Usually we could at least count on that, let's hope it continues. It was good to see Kleiza so pumped at the end and McKinney realizing he is a scorer. Now if they could only win when I'm at a game out here in Boulder.

Oh yeah, coaster site. CP's new banner is pretty sweet!
