Cedar Point 8/29/08

Just a few quick thoughts/observations:

Last day of weekly operations (excluding Monday), fairly light crowds. Raptor and Mantis were walk-ons in the afternoon. I'm pretty sure the line for Wildcat was longer than the one for Millennium Force.

First time I've ever seen MF's station flooded with people instead of controlled amounts. Yuck.

MF's island is already looking a little "piratey". Halloweekends is gonna be big this year, and by big I mean really crowded.

I think 1 out of every 3 nametags I read said Equador.

Gemini ran only the red side all day.

I didn't hear a single person say "check" all day. =)
