We arrived about 9:25 and when they let us in at 9:35 we walked right on the Raptor. Great way to start the morning and wake us up.
From there we went to check the line on the Force and decided to get a hand stamp for it later. Instead, we headed to the Mantis which was a 1 train wait (we usually skip this ride as it is not worth the wait).
Next, my wife thought it would be good to hit Disaster Transport and Wicked Twister so we headed that way. There was zero line for the DT, we actually ran through the queu and got to ride by oursselves. It is kinda creepy being alone in the dark. Cool experience.
Then we headed to the WT and the line was not past the fastlane entrance. So we waited the 15 minutes and then found there was no line for the rear seats so we took those. Great ride.
By this time it was about 10:40 and we headed back to get our hand stamps for force. Got those for 2-3.
We decided to try to take our customary loop around the back before lunch.
So we hit Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Magnum, Gemini, CCMR, and Mean Streak all in quick succession with no more than a 5 minute wait. Maggie was running great. Others were as expected excepet MS was even worse than normal. I think we may start skipping this ride. Way too rough now.
So we took the train and sky ride back to the car for some lunch. When we got back inside it was 12:46 and we only had a couple coasters left to hit. So, we walked on the Blue Streak near the back. Great air and fun ride.
Then we waited in our longesst line of the day for the Wildcat. Only my second ride ever on this thing and it may be awhile before I ride it again. It is not horrible but on the lift hill the jerk of the car causes the seat to ram me in the middle of my back. Ouch.
Anyway, we still had about 45 minuted before our force stamps so we headed back to Maggie (my favorite ride) and we even waited for the front. The front seemed to get a good deal of air but the sense of speed is not nearly as good.
Finally, we hit the force about 2:15 and of course it was a great ride.
We skipped the kiddy coasters as usual. We will probably wait to do all the caosters again until late next season when of course we will have another to try to do all in one day.
To sum up 5 hours, 13 coasters, 2 rides on Maggie
Fun day at the point. I hope labor day has similar lines
