Good tr. I actually do not like B&M coasters. If I get out there, you won't see me on Raptor. I'll go with Schwarzkopf any day. And it sounds like seat 1.3 is where the fun is on Magnum. I like a bit of bashing. Not hard bashing, but getting slammed is fun. And I've never been on a SLC so maybe I don't know what bashing is, from what I've heard.

John, I'm back and forth on B&M. I'm typically impressed by their smoothness and quickness on many of their coasters' elements, but at the same time, I've had some really boring rides on B&M coasters, as well as some supremely painful rides (like Mantis). I think that when they do a good coaster, they do a GREAT coaster, but many times I feel let down when I ride a B&M (exceptions being Raptor, Talon, and Nitro).

I don't mind a little banging around myself (ehehehe...sorry, mind went somewhere else there), but when I'm banged around to the point of injury, headache, or just plain sickness, it's too much. For instance, I hear a lot about Mean Streak's roughness, but when I got on it, the vibration/shakiness/banging really wasn't all that bad. I didn't feel bad after I got off of it. Gemini, Magnum, and Mantis, however, all made me feel like I could have done permanent damage to my melon head. LOL But, if you really like a good beatdown, 1-3 is the seat for you on Magnum. :)
