Where to start.. well... let's see.. My friends and I have had this planned for so long. To get to the point and ride all of the coaster. The big ones anyway.
I woke up around 3:00 in the morning and got packed and ready for the 4 hour trip up to Sandusky Ohio. I woke my girlfriend up from her sleep wilst my brother woke his girlfriend up. They got their things together. We double checked to see if we had everything ready to go. We sure did. (I ended up forgetting my watch of course... stupid me) Into the car we got and headed down the highway. We were supposed to me my friends at a Kroger store in a nearby town. We had just missed them. We listened to music and talked about all of the rides and what we wanted to get on first. For me of course it was the Millennium Force. I have been waiting for what seemed like an eternity since it first opened in May. My girlfriend and my brother had never been to Cedar Point. They were really excited about it. I was too, of course.
Soon we came to Sandusky. Right before the bridge we stopped at McDonald's and ate breakfast. After we had finished, we headed out again to cross the bridge. I was busy talking to my girlfriend when I heard my brother and his girlfriend say in unison, "Holy cow!" Only they didn't say cow. I looked up. There looming in the distance was Millennium Force. My brother nervously asked if that was the new one. We told him that it was. I knew in the back of my head that he wouldn't get on it. We got into our parking space and headed to the entrance. We handed the person our tickets and went to the lockers to put our backpacks away. We wanted to go seperate ways, so I gave my brother one of my walkie-talkies. Kathy and I proceeded to what we presumed to be the anxious line of people waiting to ride Millennium Force. I heard someone yell out my name, it was my friend Garry. He was anxious about getting in line for the MF as well was his little brother. I was looking down at the ground, watching a support beam fly past me. Then down into a tunnel, shot back up at the other end. I couldn't stop screaming from excitement. The next turn felt to me like the most extreme turn. Actually, all of the turns were extreme!! After that turn, we came around to the other 122 degree banked turn, around and over the hill coming back to the last tunnel. We had major airtime over that!!!! WOW! Through the tunnel we went.. CLICK CLICK CLICK! Our picture was taken. Over the last bunny hill, into the final turn and back into the station. I was still yelling after everyone else stopped! I just could not contain my excitement! We went directly to the picture booth and got our picture. Kathy looks like she's been on one too many pills..hehe and I look just plain crazy!
As we left Millennium Force, I pulled out my walkie-talkie to call my brother, Heath. He answered and I told him that we just got off from MF. He asked where I was at, I told him that I was getting ready to go across the railway tracks by the Mantis. He said to turn around. I did so and I saw many hands go flying into the air waving at me. He said to come here. I asked if that was the line for the Mantis. He said yes. Of course I didn't want to intrude and cut in front of everyone. So Kathy and I went over to them. We talked and I showed them the pic of us on MF. Garry seemed jealous. He said, why wait so long for that coaster? It's nothing but a big drop with speed. He was majorly all about getting on it. That was all we talked about since it opened. I think he was mad because I was right about running to the line and that I got to ride it and he didn't. He said, "Oh, Mantis is better anyways. I'd rather ride this.. blah blah..." I didn't say anything, I just laughed. So then they opened the Mantis lines up and I was about to leave. They said to stay and keep in line with them. So we did.

Heath and Lisa boarded the train before ours. When we got off, we met up with them at the picture booth. Something happened on our pic and my head was cut off on both pictures. Ours and the one after it. We had a laugh at the other pics and walked onward towards the Raptor.
We decided that we would be lazy and take the cable cars over the boardwalk. I took some really great pictures of the Raptor in flight. Then we finally got off. We dicided that it would be best to drop off our walkie-talkies and pictures at the lockers before we get in line. So we did so.
The line for the Raptor was out of the gates, but we were very intent on riding it. Heath was kind of angry of the 'long' wait for it. It was posted for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The wait was about 1 hour 5 minutes. We spotted Garry and his girlfriend Brandy ahead of us, so I yelled and said hello to them both. Soon, we were on the Raptor. Third row, I took the death seat, followed by Kathy, Lisa and Heath. We all loved it. I didn't want to buy the picture, so I thought I might as well and take a picture of the picture just to see if it turned out.
After we left the Raptor, it started to rain a little. It really wasn't too bad. Then it started to just pour down. All the rides shut down, so we decided to go eat somewhere. We thought that Macaroni's would be a good place. It was! After that, we went to the shops just to look around. We bought ponchos. So was everyone else. It was really coming down pretty heavily. Since no rollercoasters were open, we went to the smaller ones. Cedar Downs was the first. We got on it, our horse was named Mr. Ed, and Lisa's and Heath's was called Bill. We're just odd I guess you could say. After that we walked around the park some more and went over to the Disaster Transport. It was closed down also because of the thunder and lightning. So we left there and went around down to Thunder Canyon.
