Cedar Point 7/14-7/16

Me and my friends took the weekend to go up to cedar point and ride all the great coasters and etc. etc. I have to say of all my visits to CP this was by far my favorite! My mom works for express so we go into the park for free after 5pm on friday.

We arrived at 9pm and headed for Millenium Force first. This is still my favorite coaster around. It offers the best speed and Floting airtime! I just love it. and At night its a completely different experience.

After MF we headed to Mean streak and got a pretty decent ride on that. Im confused at the large Banner that say's Mean Streak is one of the Top wooden coasters around?(Reviewed by some magazine). I don't know about that one.

After mean streak was Magnum and This coaster always takes my breath away. From the first drop to the ending tunnel, it's just amazing! The ejector airtime is crazy and the speed on this coaster is great. By far one of the best Hypers out there!

The time was no 11pm and the park was closing so we left to get ready for the park in the morning.

7/15

The park opened at 8am for Limited Brands and they had MF and Raptor open for ERT. We got a quick ride on Raptor(great invert and never lets up!) after that we went straight to the back to get in line for SkyHawk. Shocking enough there was no one back there, so we just waited and watched them test it. This ride is so massive and watching it test was pretty cool. It goes so High. I love the sound is makes before its final run and it also makes a sound that resembles a hawk, its cool. At 10am they opened the ride and we got right on. They only had one side running so as the day went on the wait got so long. When this ride first starts you feel the force. It pulls you back and then pushes you forward and when you get to the max. high you feel so light headed and you feel the pressure on your body..its so awsome. I like it better than MaxAir only because you can feel the force of SkyHawk. It is def. one of the best Large Flat rides around!

After SkyHawk we went on Cedar Mine ride and Another Ride on Mean Streak and then Hit Gemini. Gemini is still a great coaster and racing the other train and winning is so much fun. After Gemini we headed for Wicked Twister. The wait said 1hr but it only lasted about 30min. I love Steel Venom at GL because of the holding break, but today WT just knocked SV out of the water. It was so fast and forcful and just great.

Next was food and we ate at the restaurant underneath the Chairlift ride and it was really good.

After that we head to Magnum again and got another awsome ride and then we headed for Millenium Force Again because we heard the line was moving really fast. And Indeed it was. This coaster just rocks my socks off.lol. Its just great.

After MF wqe headed to TTD because we heard that it broke down and when TTD breaks down everyone leaves the line. Why? I have no Idea. So we waited outside the fence and about 45min later it opened back up and there was no one in the line(ppl were only on the loading platform) after the first train launched we were already ready to go on. TTD is just so fast and everytime I ride I wish there was more to it! Its by far one of the better coasters that launch at high speeds, but I always get off wishing there was more. I love watching and hearing the general public talk about this ride and say it goes 200mph and like 500ft high. Its a good laugh. I always want to correct them, but never do.

After TTD We went on Mantis and Raptor and then did another run on WT. By this time it was 11pm so we got in line For MaxAir. The line moved really fast and while we were waiting this lady on the ride wanted to get off, so they let her. But it took like a year and a day. It was funny Because she was screaming. MaxAir is ten times better than Delirium because it goes on so many more cycles. It felt like i was on there for a year. I loved it. Its a great thrill ride.

After that we left the park. We also went back on sunday but left early because there was nothin to do that we didnt already do or want to do. CP is by far the best park around and that I have been to this summer. Next up Is Holiday World and I have never been so I am really excited!

I was one of the people on the platform when it reopened. We were holdovers from the line (which was back to the pop machines) when it shutdown. I had just gotten in line when it shutdown and so many people that I made my way up to the platform in no time.

I agree, its a good thrill and a good addition for the park. But I like something more, so I think MF has more of the total package.
