Is CP getting two racing S&S Power vertical launched coasters?
Also, why when I go to talk in a different area of the forum my message goes away?

There is a reason it is dissapearing.
It is called deleting your post.

I'll give you a little hint.
This has been posted on Thrillride, and we all know how dependent Thrillride is.
Not just the dependability, but posting information that appears on another site is pointless, since many people already read the rumors.

Not to mention this rumor in particular is far away from becoming reality. Some info on Thrillride is credible but wich ones are is a guess to us all.

Are the rumors there any more or less credible than the rumors we read here? Rumors are just that - RUMORS - no matter where they appear.

I guess I failed to say how I meant dependable. I meant that 98% of the stuff posted on Thrillride is garbage that has and will never happen.
So, no--it's not PROBABLY true or RIGHT at all.

Even though the Wild Rumors page on thrillride is listed as Wild Rumors it does not just contain rumors it also contains news and pictures. This is just the way that the webmaster chooses to display his rumors and news. That is the credible info that I was talking about.

The rumors you see here are sumbitted, and approved by Jeff, while the people that run Thrillride will almost literally post any rumor out onto the site.

X01, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on your spelling, as I hope you were screwing with our collective heads.
A good rule of thumb for Thrillride is to take every rumor there with a grain of salt. Just remember that anyone on this board, on a whim could post that Adventureland is getting a 400 foot wooden hypercoaster and thrillride would post it.
Basically, the moral of the story is don't believe everything you read.

Jared Wright? For the time being no way. Perhaps in years to come, and when a vertical launch coaster is proven to be a public succes. Right now this ranks up there with them razing Sandcastle and moving all the coaster's around. 2004 is my bet to be the earliest year one of these will be seen at CP.

Also if someone were to send an e-mail about Adventurelands 400ft wooden Hypercoaster to Thrillride it would no doubt get a comment by the webmaster. This is also one thing that I do like about thrillride. The Webmaster can be very synacle towards what he will put on the page. The name of the page is "Wild Rumors". Wild being the key word. I find most of the posts to be of extreme entertainment value and then cannot believe when one of the hundred rumors turns out to be true. As this recently happened on his site with the Magic Mountain Threesome.

I have seen other sites like that. The thing is, even if a rumor is sent to Jeff, and he approves it for posting here, how does HE know that it is valid? Aren't rumors sort of like gossip - based on hearsay?

Those thrillride rumors are never true, like when they said Steel Phantom's loops would be taken out but the first two drops would remain and they'd make a new layout after the 2nd drop. Or the one that SFMM would build a hyper coaster part of which would tower over Collosus. Or that Cedar Point would build 300 foot tall coaster with a 80 degree first drop and overbanked turns.
Some of the rumors on thrillride end up being true, however most do not, I can't say if this rumor is true or not but with CP you never know.
