We left for the Point at about 5:10, but we had to wait for what seemed like forever at the toll both. We got to the main gate about 5:30, and I looked around to see if I could find some people I said I would meet, but I couldn’t, so I just went into the Joe Cool ERT. I decided to go for Millennium Force for the ERT, because as much as I like Wicked Twister, it just can’t compare to MF. This was my first Joe Cool ERT this year, and it was actually more crowded than I’d expected it to be, but it was still sweet. In 20 minutes I got 2 rides in, one near the back and one in the middle.
We were going to head back to Magnum when the park first opened, but Nick called me and said to come over to Raptor because it was a walk on. Of course, by the time I actually got there the line was up to about 10 minutes, but thats still not too bad. We got a sweet ride in the back row, and after that decided to head on over to Magnum. When we got there we found the greatest site ever, the whoe station was practically empty, and there were only 2 people waiting for the front seat.
So we decided to wait and go for the front seat, but of course, as we got into the train and sat down, they asked us to step back out. About a minute later they recommended that we ride something else because Magnum would be down for mechanical reasons. As were were leaving, I noticed a ton of people taking pictures of the construction, and having seen the construction in person I’m now a huge believer that this ride is going to be huge. The thing is gigantic already and it hasn’t even gone verticle.
Well, anyway, after we got off Magnum we decided to hit Power Tower, we did both sides and they were both a lot of fun, its probably one of the scariest rides in the park. And then we decided to take a ride on Iron Dragon because the mist was on pretty heavily. It was definately a different ride without the trees, but when we took a dive into the mist over the lagoon, that was great! We thought about going on Wildcat, but the line seemed a little too long.
As we were walking toward Millennium Force, I noticed that the park seemed pretty crowded. I figured it was probably because just about every school in the Greater Cleveland area had the day off of school and it was a nice night. We got to MF and the line was about a half hour wait, so we decied to go for it. The ride was one of the best ever, we got on about 7:50 and by then it was dark out, but they hadn’t turned on the lights yet on the lift hill, so we were going up in complete darkness. Then, as we came around the first overbank, we went into a cloud of fog, which was totally awesome.
After we got off of MF, we decided to conquer the front of the park. We headed to Pharohs secret first, but it had a monstrous line, so decided to skip it. We grabbed some cheese on a stick from the Gazeebo, and got in line for Wicked Twister. The line was about half an hour, and we waited for the back seat. It was a great ride, and was actually the first night ride I’d had on it this season.
By now it was about 9:00 and we decided to head over to the acrade next and play a couple of games of DDR. The first game I played on Basic, and got an A on 4/5 songs. After we played someone else was playing, so we put our quarters on the machine so we could get next game, and then a minute later, the one and only Jeff came up and put a quarter on. I should have said hello, but I was too shy. (Stupid Me!!) So.. if you remember me Jeff, hello. Anyway, we got up and played our game, this time putting it on Maniac. Nick probably wasn’t quite ready for Maniac but played it anyway.
We headed back to the fright zone next, and I was really impressed. The fog was on really heavily and at times it was hard to see a foot in front of you. I also really liked the music, they did an overall great job with the firght zone. The one thing that probably would have made it better was if it wasn’t so crowded. After we got through we headed back to Undertaker U but the line was pretty long, so we skipped that too.
Over to Magnum we headed. When we first got into line, it looked like it was going to be a walk-on because nobody was in the q-line, but there were a ton of people packed into the station. We headed for the ejector seat, but settled for seat 1-2 because the line was shorter. It was a great ride, lots of airtime, and I don’t think that the trims were on. We decided to go around again, sitting in the ejector seat this time. When we got into the station I saw a couple of people I knew, so I went and said hello to them, and then got got a great ride in the ejector seat.
We headed back to Millennium Force next and got another great ride on it. The line was about 30 minutes long, and we sat near the back. By then it was about 11:00 so we headed back to the front of the park to ride Raptor, we waited about 20 minutes and sat near the middle. Then we decided to sit in the front seat, so we waited about 30 minutes for that, but it was well worth it. The front is now my second favorite place to sit, the only thing better is the last row on the far right side.
By the time we got off, it was 11:50, so we went back to Pharoh’s secret but the line was still about 25 minutes, so we went over to Wicked Twister which was a walk-on by now. We got a ride the forth row which was pretty fun, but just didn’t compare to the back seat. After that we decided to call it a night and left.
So, after all is said and done, it was a pretty fun trip to the point. It was more crowded than I thought it would be, but it wasn’t unbearable. I got two great rides on MF during the Joe Cool ERT and got to ride all of the other major coasters that were open. Plus, got to check out the Fright Zone which was really awesome.

Hey did they ever put Magnum or Raptors 3rd trains on? I left for a party but when I did, Magnum had a full station (nobody at crowd control) and the first set of queue was full. When I walked by Raptor before it went down the line, although not zigzagging, was spilling out into the midway.
I found it odd they were only running 2 on both of them. I mean I've seen MF and Magnum run one train with a minimal wait, but never seen a considerable wait without full capacity. Also considering the last few Friday's Raptor started with 3 when the park was empty and a hurricane was passing though. (So Soon as there is a nice Friday they pull a train ;) )
