Cedar Point

This Trip Report is long overdue. I don't even remember when we went. Anyways. We went to the park on a Wednesday. It wasn't crowded at all. I live in Texas, and I had been to Cedar Point once before in 1996. Unfortunately, I didn't ride anything the first time. I just had to go back again. We arrived at the park sometime in the morning. The First thing I saw was Millennium Force. Oh my gosh! That ride is huge. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the cabins, so we drove right by Millennium Force. I looked up at the drop, and it scared me half to death. Anyways, we went through the back entrance. We were lucky there was no line. I remember seeing Magnum the first time I came. It looked so huge, but this time is looked so small. Probably because I saw Millennium Force first. Now I'll get to the rides. My ratings go from 0-10.

Magnum XL-200- This ride wasn't what I thought it was going to be. It loved it, but i thought it was going to be a bit better. We waited in line for about 5 minutes. The first drop was great, but then it got rough. Thats the only reason I didn't like it. It was way too rough. Rating: 8

Raptor- This ride was awesome. It was everything I hoped for and more. We waited about 45 minutes, and it was well worth it. It was my first B&M rollercoaster, and I must say, they are the best designers on the planet Very smooth and intense ride. Rating: 10

Mantis- This ride was great. I must admit I liked Raptor better, but this ride was still a winner. We waited about 45 minutes for this ride too. I just totally love B&M. They make such good rides. The seats were quite comfortable too. Very smooth ride. Rating: 9

Corkscrew- One word: Ow! This ride hurt my back. The drop was great, and so the airtime hill. Unfortunately soon after, it hurt my head and my back. It was about a 2 minute wait. Rating: 5

Millnnium Force- I finally got to ride this awesome ride. The wait was about 1 hour, and it was well worth it. The seats are so comfortable, and you really feel like you are going to fall out. The lift hill was very fast, and completely silent. it was very, very tall too. The drop was incredible. I was staring straight down, and the ground was rushing up at my face. I was out of my seat the whole way down. I loved the airtime on all of the hills. The overbanked turns were extremely intense. This ride never slowed down, and is now my # 1 Rollercoaster. Rating: 10 + +

Mean Streak- Ow. This ride was very rough. It hurt my body all over. The drop was terrible because of the trim brake. I had no airtime at all. We waited about 15 minutes for this painfull ride. Rating: 7 Next we had two more rides on Raptor, with a 5 minute wait.

Then we had 2 more rides on Millennium Force with a wait of 45 minutes, and 30 minutes. This is definately the best theme park in the world, and I want to go back so bad!!!
