I agree, Gonch. :)With all due respect, it's kind of cute.
It's funny, cuz Beth is new in these parts. It's cute, cuz it's the basic argument we started years ago. Welcome to CBuzz, Beth :)

Yeah, and Cedar Point apparently doesn't want you to be happy.
Hence me not buying a pass the last couple of years.
Ironically, I own a Six Flags pass this year - bought it when we went to Great Adventure in June for a couple of days, and I hope to use it again over PPP weekend.
I thought it was cute because it seemed as if she were trying to convince me, of all people, how much Flashpass sucks. I'm the original Flashpass hater. I still feel that way too, but I just can't bring myself to put on a Flashpass hater show again. It turns into a production much like a transformers movie, where it lasts way too long, the explosions are way out of hand, and you get the two sides mixed up because the robots start to all look the same.
Welcome, Billy's friend Beth.

Suffice it to say I don't think C.P. would know what a "good coaster " is since they don't have one!
I hate to say this but you're in for a lot of disappointment with that platinum pass if you think Cedar Point lacks a good coaster. :)

And don't forget the parents!!
I damn near threw the glasses at the screen when they showed up..
Sorry about that.. back to baboons and FlashPass
Really great TR!
I feel the same about most things you have said. Cedar Point may be filled with an insane amount of rides, but very few are "worth-while" to us anymore (girlfriend and I). The past few summers were had gone to CP dozens and dozens of times each summer/fall... It is great and all, but after riding MF in the morning and maybe Raptor before the crowds come in, we just get bored very quickly. This year, we have only gone twice and find it harder and harder to get back. We just get bored, which is sad for such a huge park, but it is lacking some other types of rides... For me, some GCI wood... Something out of control, insane and different. There comes a point where all the steel rides just get boring and predictable. Blue Steak to me is alright and Mean Steak just plain sucks...
Don't get me wrong I love CP... I just get bored with how busy it gets and the lack of "charm". I don't know if it is the lack of trees, theming, etc... But I have much more fun at waterparks these days in the summer and enjoying CP more in the fall when its hopefully cooler, when Halloweekends gives the park some appeal again. Walking around CP when it's hot just plain sucks. Nowhere to escape the heat besides the midway between MF and Maverick.
