Last year on July 5th, my wife and I were visiting Cedar Point. On our 2nd Ride of Magnum-XL in the front seat the trim brakes went out and we endured a very painful ride. Every hill threw us into the bar and when we pulling into the station they stopped the ride (another train was going up the hill). After about 5 minutes they reset the ride and we were let off in loading/unloading section. Due to the lack of trim brakes we both suffered bruises on the tops of our thighs were the lap bar kept hitting us. These bruises were evident for several days after our trip.
Trim Breaks are there both for your safety and enjoyment and I would never wish to have someone endure what we did on a coaster again.
