Cedar Fair Theming

So with Banshee being more as a horror dark forest theme, do you think Cedar Fair would ever consider re theming action zone to reflect? With Matt Ouimet always putting atmosphere first and foremost I would only see this as a inevitable change.

During BeastBuzz Don Helbig was asked if Action Zone would be rethemed and he didn't give a direct answer. Any other BeastBuzzers remember exactly what he said about it?

Separately, I have heard a rumor form an unreliable source that Flight Deck will be renamed The Bat. And presumable repainted, etc.

I'd be okay with flight deck becoming the bat. I'd be even more okay with them figuring out how to extend it :).

Well, I heard from an unreliable source that "The Bat" is going to be Kings Island new winged coaster next year.

^^^ Extending Flight Deck. I'm glad to hear someone else say that. I've thought about that for years. There is still so much energy left when the train hits those brakes. I guess we can daydream together.

Yes, let's. could you imagine staying low to the ground and flying through some trees and/or banshee supports? That ride has so much speed in the valley, I feel like it goes to waste.

I'll repeat what others have been coming up with. Flight Deck will be renamed The Bat. Invertigo will be renamed Screamin' Demon. Congo Falls possibly could turn into Frightful Falls. Al these rides and the entire Action Zone could get a retheme as a dark haunted forest. As much as I absolutely love love love this idea, one must think reasonably and understand that it will probably never ever happen.

If it did happen, at least they already have the Bat logo designed.

And as for "extending" FlightBat, I think we all know that it would never happen, but it's fun to dream.

Can anyone come up with a clever theme idea for Delirium? I would even argue that it wouldn't need a new name, but maybe a repaint.

I was the one that asked Don about re-theming the area. I was alluding to Action Zone but didn't mention it specifically, so he basically said that the area around Banshee would be re-themed but didn't give a direct answer when someone else brought up Action Zone. I think he said it could possibly be re-themed. I was tempted to bring up the Flight Deck renaming rumors but I didn't.
