I heard this as "breaking news" here in the Cleveland area. The buyer is Apollo Group (never heard of them). It is said an official announcement will be is 2-3 days.

It's a private equity firm. According to Wikipedia (I know, I know, but it's convenient) they have investments in several cruise lines, AMC theaters, and Harrah's.
