I'm considering buying one of these passes to hit up Carowinds (never been) and KD (last time was 1984!!) and maybe a couple other Cedar parks. There is something in the fine print about seasonal events - are these Platinum passes good during the fright fest (or whatever they call it) during October?
I believe Knott's is the only park passes aren't good at for Halloween. I think there may have been one other park included in that, but I can't recall offhand. Unless something changes, the pass should be good for most of the parks.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Agreed - I never had a problem between KI's Haunt, CP's HW, and any other event - haven't been to Knott's for fall events, so I think you are likely safe.
Hope the snow melts soon!

Canada's Wonderland also doesn't accept season passes during Halloweekends
Its seems that the general rule at KI is that as long as you are in the park prior to the start of Halloween Haunt your pass will get you into the attractions. The past few years there has been an admission ticket online at KI for the Halloween events. As always, call or email the park. Its your best bet.
