Cedar Fair opening dates?

I realize this is early, but I am getting a maxpass online before the price goes up. Which park do we predict will open first? I recall PKI tended to open at least a week, if not 2 before CP. I will travel to GL, MIA or possibly Dorney as well, to get the season pass.
Thats easy, KBF, open all year round.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

If your pass is processed it's valid. If you get one from CP and get it renewed by mail starting in January, trationally, (or processed at the park sometime in April) you can use it as soon as you have your card in hand.
Hey Coasterb! If I recall correctly, Kings Island opened Easter weekend in 06 and so did Worlds of Fun (2nd week of April?). I hope KI opens in April again in 07, we are getting maxpasses too and KI was going to be our 1st in 07, if they still open in April. I always wondered why CP doesn't open on weekends in April. I just came back from a blustery evening of riding fun at CP and even the winter that wouldn't end in April 05 seemed mild compared to the conditions tonight (and others in October).
WOF has been opening the second weekend in April the last two years.

Yea, but I have to travel 2 hours to get to CP and KI, and won't be doing that without a reason to be in the area (the park being open). Thats why I want to know what's going to open first, so I can go that first weekend and process my pass. Will CP open earlier than KI, or KI open before CP, or will they actually open on the same weekend because they are now owned by the same company?

Kings Island still should open the 2 weekend in April. I have a feeling they won't be much changes to the schedule. It would be nice though to add some 11pm and 12am closes during the summer season though.
If you're making a two hour weekend trip do you really need to plan so far in advance that neither park has even closed for the season yet?

I would rather pay the price they list now, than pay that $165 when they go up next month. You have to process your season pass at the park you purchase it from before being able to use it at another park.

Upon furthur review of websites, CP is offering free Joe Cool membership for Maxx passes sold before Nov 15. KI doesn't appear to mention Gold Pass perks this year on their website. So I will be buying from CP this year.
