Cedar Fair named "Dividend Achiever" by investor information service

Cedar Fair was named a "Dividend Acheiver" by Mergent, formerly the Financial Information Services division of Moody's Investors Service. The designation is given to companies that have the best pay-out of dividends to their share holders (or in this case, partnership unit holders). Cedar Fair currently pays $1.64 per year for every unit you own.

Great news, I am awaiting my next dividend payment of $0.41 per share on 11/15. I think I will buy more shares (or units) with it!

Great news! Now I will be able to reinvest and purchase another 3.425 shares. Wooooo hooooo!!!!!

I hope to buy some Cedar Fair shares soon. Do you get any extra deals when you own stock such as a free ticket admission, etc?

Why would you get a free ticket? Spending $19 a share doesn't entitle you to anything other than the dividends.

Take the oney you make from the stock and visit "your" park (technically it's partially owned by you, although it's probabvly just a garbage can ;) )

For people owning at least 100 units there were some perks. This year I got 3 "buy one get one free" admission coupons and a certificate for a free night in a property hotel with a paid night. Didn't need the admissions coupons, but we sure enjoyed the 2 nights at the Breakers last weekend. Halloweekends is awesome.

I didn't get anything last year though.

Those aren't perks for unit holders, those are perks for anyone paying attention to the specials they offer. I owned 1,825 shares at one point... all I got was hundreds in dividends.
