Cedar Fair missing attendance target due to weather

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Attendance at Cedar Fair parks is down 7% over last year due in part to constant wet weather at Cedar Point. 13 of the first 27 operating days included rain, more than twice the amount in May last year. CEO Dick Kinzel says that targets are still attainable, as the bulk of the parks' attendance, including year-round Knott's Berry Farm, comes in the vacation months of July and August.

Good luck when you go "CoasterManiac" I just went last week and I thought it would rain but it didnt and I was so happy!:) I got a 2day pass ticket for the park and it only rained right when I cam in the park for about 2 min! I had so much fun there and I want to go back again but its to long of a drive from southern Indiana. I rode MF and only was a 1:15 wait for it, but that was at night. If I were you I would stay at the park till they close, cuz at night the lines are much shorter and they have a light show every night. I am hopeing that CP gets more attendance so they get more money and more awsome rides!
