Cedar Fair maintains quarterly distribution in third quarter

Cedar Fair declared Friday that the company will maintain its cash distribution at $1.76 per unit per year, as the third quarter comes to a close and results are just slightly over last year's. This will be the 66th straight quarter of paying its unitholders.

As much as people complain (rightfully so) about the economy, FUN has been a solid performer now for me for three years. Even at its current price, you're still looking at more than a 6% return on dividends alone. Gotta love that!

Yeah for me! I have been holding Cedar Fair since 1995 and don't have any reason to complain, except for the tax filing delay that occurs each year.

If they could fix that I would be happy.

This is why those that criticize the company come off looking pretty foolish. It is a company, in business to make money. Sometimes people forget that. Look at the performance from a business perspective over the past decade and there is little, if any, room for criticism.
